I do apologise for being very inactive with this, only due to the fact of repetition between the characters putting me off, so, I have decided to stick with Sam's point of view from now on! Also, I'll be working a Visual Novel thanks to a friend who will be anime-ing the characters up and basically telling me about it. Although it'll be out next year sometime, or maybe the year after!

I've never seen him so upset.

We arrived at Fiona's and trained for weeks. Once the weeks passed we learnt how to toss darts and got new equipment. We are now on our way to Middlebay. Molly walked in front while Sam and I held hands. We soon arrived to where we tied our horses up when we first arrived. Sam helped me up on my horse as arrows flew down from the walls. Bodies tumbled off afterwards. A man stood there, it was the man from the gallows, "Haha! You think you can escape fools?"
"Think I can take them?" Sam turned to us before taking out his bow and several arrows. He took aim and fired as I sat scared that the archers up on the walls would hit us. Arrows flew up and down the walls, most landing near us. Sam took out half of their archers as a couple fell to the ground, but not by Sam's arrows.
"Think you can have all the fun Sam? We were given these darts for a reason." Molly chuckled as an arrow flew into the ass of the horse I was on. The horse went wild and ran all over the place. I was hanging on, just barely. Sam freaked and ran towards me when Molly told him to focus on the archers. Molly was foolish enough to jump on the horse and rip the arrow out, "Sorry girl but theres no time to take care of you." She leaped to the front, drew her sword and slit its throat whilst we were still on it. The horse tumbled to the ground as well as me landing on Molly.
"You will fall by Hansen's guards! Especially since the four of you are no longer together." The man chuckled as a guard pushed Leonis forward with a tight grip on the strands of his hair, "Take care of him." The guard kicked Leonis off the tall wall, he toppled and screamed until he landed on the ground with a thud. The man and guards retreated from sight as I helped Molly up. Sam was over by Leonis' body and checked if he was alive.
"Fuck you! You will pay for this, you, your puttana and Hansen!" Sam yelled rising from Leonis' body and rounding another horse. He hopped on the horse and road towards Middlebay. I turned to Molly as she got on her horse and helped me up, "Sorry babe. It's obviously his way of dealing with death. Lets follow." She kicked her heels into the side of the horse and we followed Sam.

We stopped to set up tents as the sun begun to set behind us. Sam set up his tent fast and went inside. I turned to Molly who placed her hand on my shoulder. The expression on her face was telling me to go in and talk to him. So I walked to his tent and entered to see him sitting in the back with his face between his hands. The way he was made me feel horrible. It hurt so much to see him cry, he was the strong one. He has never cried in front of me before. I sat behind him and reached my arms around him. He turned with his face soaked with tears and hugged me back. It was nice until he kissed me more violently. I pulled back, "Sam. I have no idea how you feel but you need to feel better. Cozza! I'm merda at making people feel better"
"Jessie. I love you so much. You don't need to try." He said crawling over to me and hugging me, "I just need you."
"This is going to come off wrong but I'm not going to have sex with you so you can feel better." I stopped, "I mean I will if you want, but only if that's what you want. Not just 'pity' sex."
"Oh Jessie!" He yelped before hugging me tighter and cried more heavily, "I would love to but. Not. Now. Sleep with me. But not that way." He let go and I left the tent. Molly came over and asked how he was as I grabbed the sleeping bags, "He's really upset. I've never seen him so upset." I turned away and looked down.
"Well you keep him company tonight and make him feel better. You're the only one that can." Molly said as I nodded and entered the tent to see Sam already stripped of the clothes and was in more comfortable ones. I chucked him a sleeping bag and got undressed. He got in the sleeping bag as I put on the usual bed gear. I left the sleeping bag that was close to me and snuggled into the same one as Sam. He turned to face me and then kissed me.

Hired by the princess?

I left the run down building shrugging off the thought of what Fiona could have meant. To be honest I wasn't sure if I could find this place again. This place was full of filthy people that stunk. I couldn't handle it when I ran up a wall and begun to climb. Half way up the wall, I slipped but quickly grabbed a hold. Once on the roof I saw the remains of dead guards on a roof not far from me. I ran there and then ran the way I came from. The journey was long but I arrived at the gallows to see the general and the sergeant talking. Dead bodies surrounding them. My eyes zoomed in like before. Using this to my advantage I scanned the bodies to see if it was the others. I couldn't see them so I rushed towards the bar.

Upon my arrival the barmaid stood there with a smile on her face, "They're in the back." I approached the back as the barmaid slowly followed. Opening the door I noticed Molly awake and explained that we had to see Fiona. The barmaid pushed me to the side and helped Molly up. Molly went and waited out the front. I sat down on the bed where Jessie now laid. The memories of what happened that night flooded my mind, I blushed. She was still sound asleep as I reached my hand down to her hand. I held her hand as she held mine back. I sat there and what felt like hours passed by until she woke up. She looked at me with those beautiful Hazel eyes, as my heart jumped. I begun to speak but at first it was as if I was winded. I explained the situation about us needing to see Fiona, as I found out about Leonis being captured. We were leaving the room when the barmaid chucked metal plated gloves to Jessie. We met up with Molly at the front and then the three of us left.

We arrived to the building and I opened the door for Jessie and Molly to go in first. Jessie walked in as I heard a loud thud. I turned to see what happening when I see a crying boy on the ground with a man standing above the boy. The man chucked a pouch to Molly. I placed my hand on Molly's back and guided her in, "What happened?"
"That boy tried stealing my money pouch. But then that older man pushed him against the wall and told him not to steal 'from people that wear that emblem!'"
"Weird." I said as I shut the door behind. Fiona walked in and begun to talk. Molly demanded to know who we were and such. Fiona explained that we were assassins called Dakorians, hired by the princess.

We then begun training. Once we were finished training Fiona gave us daggers each, metal vambraces, a pouch of darts and gave me a short sword.
"Where will we go next?" I asked.
"Morhollow camp. That is on the east side of the Volcano Islands. To get there, go to Middlebay and use boats to get to the west, next to the abandoned castle and slowly kill everyone at the camp. They are a big threat. A bunch of Necromancers that conjure up skeletons, a massive threat to Tethys." Fiona explained. We begun to leave as Fiona pulled me aside and handed me another dagger wrapped inside a silver cape which had the Dakorian emblem on it, "You will know who to give this to. When you meet them, do not ponder as you will make the right choice." She stopped and then projected her voice so the others could hear, "At Middlebay is a man who will teach you about your spiritual animal things. To be honest, I think the guy is crazy. Have fun kids."

Dakorians

I woke up wounded badly, in a bed with Jessie. Jessie was fast as I begun to recollect my memory. I remember when we arrived at the gallows there were two people standing on the floor with nooses around their necks. A man and a woman (also the executioner) were standing next to the noosed men. Sam made the first move by freeing them from a roof top by using his arrows. Sam opened the door and explained that we have to meet some lady named Fiona. The barmaid wandered over to me and helped me up, slowly. Once I was up I walked to the counter in the main room of the bar. Moments of waiting past and Sam and Jessie walked out and we left. We entered a dark alleyway with thieves, whores, thugs and drunk men walking around. I held my pouch to make sure no one will go near my money. The people moved to the side as we approached the door. Sam opened the door and gestured that we go in first. Jessie moved in first as a hand grabbed my pouch and yanked it off. I turned to see a kid being held to the wall as my pouch fell from the kids hand. The man pulled him away, slapped him and yelled, "Not from people that wear that emblem!" The boy begun to cry as the man slapped him again and threw him on to the ground. The man grabbed my pouched and chucked it to me, "Sorry ma'am." Sam placed his hand on my back and pulled me into the door. The room was dark, dull with candles placed around. Not much candles. A woman pulled out a match and lit the rest to make it more bright, "Welcome."
"Fiona. Good to see you again." Sam said bowing
"Glad to see you brought your friends. I'm assuming Leonis isn't with you?"
"No. He got captured."
"What a shame. He will be fine. Anyway where shall I begin."
"Who are we? What are we? What is this group we are apart of!?" I demanded.
"Molly. You three are assassins. You kill for the good of this nation. We are known as Dakorians. A group formed from Hansen's very own sweet heart, Princess Leena. Why did she form us?" The woman asked rhetorically, "So that her father could be killed to make this nation a better nation. She loves her father very much, he's a good father, a good husband but a horrible king and she knows that."
"Dakorians?" Jessie whispered under her breath.
"Yes. Now shall I begin to train you three? I will teach you how to throw darts directly into ones vital areas. I am aware you have learnt vital spots from Molly's mother?"

Weeks past of training and Fiona chucked us metal vambraces. Three men walked in and handed us daggers with the Dakorian symbol on the grips. I hooked the sheath for the Dagger onto my belt. We also received a pouch with 20 darts in them, which I also hooked onto my belt.
"Sam. I hear you have trouble in close combat? I would like you to have this." Fiona said grabbing Sam's quilt and attaching a sheath. She then slid a short sword with the grip in the shape of a arrows end, "Use it well."

Another, here?

The guards surrounded the three of us. We fought and fought as blood stained our clothing. My fists begun to swell, Molly's arm begun to go numb and Leonis sat swinging his scythe around. I collapsed as everything got dizzy. Molly fell soon after. We were screwed, we need to be saved. Where are you Sam? Leonis stood up still swinging the scythe around to make sure the guards didn't come closer. At one point, everything faded dark and 4 skeletons appeared. The skeletons took care of the guards until an arrow slammed into the back of Leonis' hand and the scythe fell. He stumbled back as the Skeletons disappeared with a puff of smoke.
"The four can not bring down Hansen when they are not united. Take the boy!" The general yelled as guards grabbed Leonis. He kept kicking and squirming until one guard slammed his elbow into Leonis' head. Then. Everything went black.

I woke up on the bed Sam and I slept together on the night before. Molly laid next to me with bandages around her arms. The barmaid leaned against the wall with a smirk on her face. Blood was splattered across her, grazes on the visible skin, cuts here and there, a black swollen eye and yellow bruises on her cheek, "You two are lucky. It seems you need to be taught how to fight. Luckily I know who can teach you. A young fine, beautiful woman named Fiona trained me when we were young."
"We know how to fight!" I yelled before realising I was rude, "Sorry."
"It's okay. What I send wasn't what I meant so I don't blame you misinterpreting it. You all know how to fight, but you do not know how to counter and how to break someone's defence. Fiona will help you with that. You should go see her when you are feeling better." She said leaving the room. Something on the heel of her boot stood out. The symbol, the symbol on my necklace. She was one of us. My eyes got heavy and I fell asleep.

Sam was staring at me when I woke up again, "Thank goodness you woke up. We have to go. This lady, called Fiona wants us to meet her. Where's Leonis?"
"Leonis was captured. So this Fiona is a acquaintance of the barmaid, which is also one of us?"
"Leonis is gone? Merda. We must carry on without him." Sam said as I knew we would meet Leonis again, "Molly is at the front waiting. Let's go." I got up and got ready to leave. The barmaid chucked me gloves with metal parts on it, "It'll help you a lot, hun."
"Thanks." I replied as the three of us left.

Fiona

I closed the door behind myself and the four of us ran out towards the gallows. Leonis fell behind as usual and so we waited. Once he arrived we all sprinted off towards the gallows, again. We arrived and there were two men with nooses around their necks. A cocky man walked up and down the gallows yelling rants like, "This is your final chance Lochfield! This is your last warning. These two conspirators will be the final warning!" What a fool but he carried on, "These two are apart of an evil cult against your king Hansen and have been here altering your news and making you hate us for nothing! They must be punished. And you will watch!" I couldn't watch more of this, I looked away and when I looked back something weird was with my vision. My eyes zoomed in on the two men as if my eyes were an eagles. One man wore a necklace with the same symbol that is on my cape, while the other wore a eye patch with the symbol. My eyes zoomed out and returned to normal as I knew I had to save them. I dashed behind a building and scaled it's walls. Once I was on top I withdrew my Bow and 2 arrows and wait for the right moment. On the number 3 I released the arrows and once the count down was done the arrows flew through the ropes of the nooses and the men ran off. I chased after the two men as a loud voice yelled, "Get that boy!" Boy? I'm 17 not 11. The men ran around the back streets with speed and precision that I was unable to keep up. Eventually I lost them but I didn't lose the guards that were tailing me. One by one fell to the ground after an arrow landed into their chests. Until they got close and all I could do was dodge. I noticed that they weren't trying to kill me, only capture me. At one point I stepped too far off the edge of the roof and fell.

I awoke with a sore back in a dull room with candles lit around the room.
"Lay down." A voice said, "It's okay, we saved you from the guards."
"Who are you?"
"By the looks of your cape, you are one of us." A young woman in her twenties said stepping into the light. She wore a violet corset with a dark purple cape covering her arms, "You're lucky it's not serious."
"What happened?" I asked as the woman, named Fiona, explained the whole situation, where the two men who I had saved through darts into the necks of the guards and carried me here. She also explained how I was asleep for two hours, "You should go look for your friends."
"How do you know?"
"We've been watching you. Question, who is the man with the scythe? He's not in the pro-"
"Leonis. Pro what?"
"Do not worry Samuel. Get out there and find your friends." She urged me to go, "Come back when you find them." I left and begun to look for my friends, but what did she mean that he's not in the, what ever she was going to say?

A new friend

I watched Jessie and the barmaid carry Sam into the back room. The man on the ground just watched as I approached him and threw is arm over my shoulder. He was still with us but just overly drunk.
"My name is Leonis, what's yours? Sexy fox."
"Molly. Thanks." I said looking away from his face. He smiled and the alcohol on his breathe made me feel a bit sick. I dropped him in the room and walked out with Jessie. We sat at the bar and drunk a little. After a while I sort of got tipsy and kissed Jessie. She ran of crying. Over exaggeration much? Well I sat there for a bit with the words, "Why did you do that?" Running through my head. Moments later Leonis stumbled out and passed out on a chair. I turned to the barmaid, "Any other spare rooms?"
"Well, no. This isn't an inn. But you can sleep in the my house across the path with me. Your flirty friend can sleep on my couch."
"Thanks. Means a lot."
"You're welcome." She said. A conversation between the barmaid and I went on for quite a while. We continued our talk throughout the locking of the bar and up to the door of her house, through her house as she got ready until we went to sleep. It was a great conversation and I hope I can meet up with her one day without this assassin business going on. I slept.

The next morning I woke up to see the barmaid, also known as Kelly, down stairs making some breakfast.
"Want some?"
"Nah, I think sleeping over is the enough."
"What's that mean?"
"I mean, I can't take any more from you."
"Oh okay." She said as Leonis sat up with his hand on his head. She then whispered in my ear, "I'll make him something for his head, though." Leonis slowly walked over as the barmaid handed a warm drink to him. Time passed when we ended up going back to the bar. Leonis heard something from the north and we left Kelly behind to investigate. It turned out to be others being hanged and a lot of rambling from some male guy, obviously a Hansen man. We rushed back to the bar to wake Sam and Jessie. Leonis opened the door to a naked Sam and a naked Jessie covering themselves with the blankets. Leonis told them what we saw and then shut the door for them to get dressed. Once the two were ready we rushed off.

More enemies.

I woke up laying next to Sam laying beside me. I placed my arm on his naked chest and left it there. Others had awoken as well but Sam was fast asleep. He laid there peacefully as I rolled over and stared at the ceiling for minutes, hours. After a while a knocks on the door begun to echo within the dark room. I immediately sat up as Sam swung his legs off the bed half asleep. Molly was shocked at the sight of us naked in a bed, like seriously, come on! The random guy that seemed to have known Sam went on about something happening at the gallows. Sam told him to shut the door, once the door shut he kissed me and got up. I soon followed to get dressed. Once the two of us were dressed the four rushed off towards the gallows with everything we owned. The man gave a kiss to the barmaid before catching up to us when we were at least 5 km away.

We arrived at the gallows to see two people with nooses around their necks. Two other people stood up on the gallows with the executioner. One was male and wore chainmail, weird gold and metal armour plates with a sheild, a sword and a cape with the Hanson symbol on the back. The other was a female human-wolf with the same sheild, armour plates, sword and chainmail but she didn't wear the cape. She wore long boots that went under a long skirt which wasn't very fashionable. I stood there watching the two as the male blurted out stuff like the two people with the nooses around their necks were evil. Sam quickly ran behind a building and climbed it. Upon reaching the roof he perched himself and aimed his bow. Two arrows in his bow, who were they for? The two guards or the nooses. He sat there aimed until the count down begun.

Sam let go and the arrows flew through the air.

PULL!
As soon as the floor was pulled beneath the men, the two arrows through into the nooses and the men landed beneath the gallows before sprinting off down the back streets. The crowd stood in shock and turned to see who had shot. They saw Sam running across the rooftops after the men. What was he doing?
"Get that boy!" The male guard guy on the gallows yelled.
"Okay General." One guard replied before signalling his men to climb the builds and chase Sam. The female stared at us for a while before whispering in the Generals ear. I turned to Molly with confusion as guards begun to surround us, "Shit!"

22 March 2011

Did that happen?

I woke up, focused on the fight. Leonis and I got smashed and went out to fight, I continued to swear in Italian, I don't know why, I just did. The imagery of Leonis and I laughing our asses off at the enraged guard just randomly lingered as I continued to think about it. The three guards then lunged forwards towards me as I swung my bow in front to block the blow. It didn't work well because I fell over and pretty much fainted until now. Thinking about that, I need a close combat weapon because regardless of me being ranged, I will fight up close, here and there. Shrugging the thought off I wondered where I was, it was a dark room and I noticed Leonis sitting against the wall still drunk, I seemed to have sobered up a bit but I know that I'm still drunk. And the taste of the alcohol still lingered on my breathe. I turned to close my eyes when I noticed a weird weight on the side of the bed, I looked to see Jessie, face in her hands, whimpering tiny sobs. She was sad, why? Trying not to ponder I said, "Jessie?-" The next words barely came in a wince as I sat up, "Are you okay?"
"Sh, lay down" She replied obviously not hearing me ask if she was okay.
"I'll be fine.-" I said, once again the next words barely came out, "How are you?" I kissed her gently on the lips. She begun to make out with me as Leonis awkwardly left the room but we just laughed and continued. I was so nervous, let alone drunk, but it felt good and right. I slowly moved my arm up Jessie's leg feeling my stomach jump around in joy as well as it feeling sick from the nervousness. I begun to slowly move my hand up her top, to also remove it when suddenly she pulled my hand away and said that she had a burn. I told her it wouldn't matter because I loved her, which was true, I meant it. She seemed to believe me because she moved my hands on to her waist where I eventually slid her top off to see her sitting on my lap with a nice black laced bra and a nice pair of breasts. Like I said, I love her, but I also admit that I am a guy and we can't help ourselves. Besides that, she was beautiful even in the dim lit room from the bottom of the door. She descended from her verticle state to begin to make out with me again. My hand slid from her nice toned buttocks up her back, which tickled her a little because she giggled a bit, up to her bra strap. I struggled with the strap as she rose up again and undid it herself. The bra fell onto my stomach, I could not help but look.

Bang, bang the door rung from the knocks on the other side. Soon the door swung open as Leonis and Molly stood there as I lay in the bed naked with Jessie. Jessie had obviously woken up as well because she sat there holding the blanket so that her breasts were not shown. I swung my legs to the side of the bed making sure the blanket covered my junk still, "What is it?"
"Uh..." Molly said standing there shocked.
"It seems we sort of helped Lochfield. It's hard to explain. You have to come to the northern district where the gallows stand!"
"Give us a moment." I said as the door closed. Kissing Jessie I got up, followed by Jessie. Molly was giggling softly outside the door as we got changed.

19 March 2011

Just another fight scene

Once Jessie and I arrived at Lochfield it was already twilight. We looked for Sam and eventually came across guards charging into a bar. I hinted Jessie that we should go through the back and so we did. Jessie leaped from being hidden to strike the captain in the cheek which knocked him back into a table. The other guards turned to stab Jessie when I ran out and swung my sword at one of the two guards. The power of the attack was too weak to pierce the chain-mail, the two guards turned and swung at the same time towards me. Both swords hit my blade as I moved my foot back to keep balance, they almost over powered me, I quickly removed my front leg and slammed it into the stomach of the one on the right. He pulled his sword back as I swung my foot towards the other guard, slamming his body against the wall and winding him. The guard still standing swung but left an opening where I swung my blade into the side of his rib cage. I quickly yanked the blade out as the guard dropped his sword and placed his hands on the wound. I thrusted my blade through his stomach and sliding it until the holster met his stomach, I then kicked his body off the blade to see Jessie finally reach the captain. Jessie grabbed his head and slammed it on the edge of the table and cursed a lot. The winded guard quickly recovered and swung his blade towards me, my blade met his blade and bounced off each other. The guard and I swung at each other for a while until I knocked his blade to the far left and punched him across the face. He fell backwards into the frame of the door, I slammed my blade through his neck. Seconds later Jessie yelled at the Captain, "Piece of shit! I only wished you'd suffered more! You met the fate you deserved! I hope you-" Snapped his neck and carried on, "Rot in hell!" Jessie got up and walked over to me. I wiped the spit off her face and looked down at her lips, I was attracted to her for no reason.
"Sam!" She yelled as I tried to kiss her. She ran over to his body which was behind me. Jessie yelled for the barmaid to help her take him to a back room, which they did.

16 March 2011

A mysterious man?

Everything from falling off the roof was a blur. I eventually passed out after a blurry Molly placed me somewhere. When I awoke I was laying on a bed looking at a doctor holding a stethoscope pressed against my left breast. The doctor noticed that I had woken up, "Don't be alarmed. You are in dracshore and I'm pretty much done checking your wounds."
"How is she?" Molly's voice rang from outside the room once the doctor left.
"A bruised back and a burnt stomach. I would like for her to say a couple of hours."
"Okay, am I able to go in?"
"Sure." The doctor said as Molly came in and sat by the bed, "How are you?"
"Confused." I replied as we begun to talk about Sam. It turned out he loved me back and I just wanted to jump up and down but that wouldn't be very wise. Molly said she would stop flirting with him and such and I was glad. We continued to talk about things but I eventually fell asleep.

When I awoke Molly told me that the doctor said we could leave once I woke up. I slid off the bed and got changed in front of Molly without caring, well except the fact that I wasn't wearing a bra which I turned around to put on. Once I had all my equipment and clothes on we left. We then sneaked onto the back of a carriage which was on its way to Middlebay which was on the other side of Lochfield. About 50 minutes passed when Molly leaped out of the back followed by myself. It took a 10 minute run to arrive at Lochfield's gate. The sun had set about an hour before we arrived here, at Lochfield. About minutes of searching for Sam we saw a bunch of guards enter a bar when Molly hinted we sneak in the back. A whole fight scene happened as I took down the captain and Molly took down the other guards. I walked over to Molly as she wiped blood off my face, it felt like she was going to kiss me, I think I even saw her lick at my lips. I smiled because it was so awkward until I noticed Sam laying out the front unconscious. I yelled his name and ran towards him. Kneeling by his body I noticed shallow cuts and bruises on his body, tears welled up in my eyes as I leaned down and kissed his unconscious lips. The barmaid hurried out and we took him to a back room and placed him on the bed. Molly comforted me as we walked out of the back room where the mysterious man laid unconscious and Sam laid down on the bed. Molly and I had a few drinks and hours passed when she kissed me, it was just a peck but I freaked out and ran to the back room. I sat on the edge of the bed and cried into my hands, why was I crying? She only pecked me so why? I guess it's because I feel guilty about Sam. I love Sam and-
"Jessie?" Sam said sitting up.
"Sh, lay down."
"I'll be fine." He said kissing me. I placed my hands on his cheek and begun to passionately kiss him as we slowly descended to kiss horizontally. We both were getting into it when the mysterious man said, "I will jus' leave" And stumbled out. We giggled and continued to make out, I felt his arm slide up my leg to the edge of my shirt. I pulled it up as I pushed his hand away, "What?"
"I have a burn there. I sort of feel self-conscious."
"Jessie, it doesn't matter to me because you are beautiful no matter what." He said as I lifted his hand onto my waist and we begun to continue to make out.

Drunken Dilemma

Both Sam and I stumbled outside, barely able to keep our balance. I hadn't been this drunk in literally ages, maybe not ever.

Sam went off belting out insults and cussing 'guardare a quelle dei suini grassi pomposo laggiù. consente di uccidere i bastardi fottuti!' at the guards to get their attention. Naturally they took notice (unknown to what was about to happen) and as they made their way over to us i proceeded to yell 'come at me, bro!!!!!'. The captain of the guards drew his sword, he looked enraged. For some reason i just stood there and laughed.

All three guards then (in what felt like a split second) attacked and Sam was on the ground unconscious. As Sam fell to the ground out cold, i scrambled back into the bar to get my scythe but there was a huge problem, my legs weren't moving. In the end i was able to move, and barely made it back into the bar before tripping over. With a massive 'Thud" I fell on my ass feeling groggy. I looked up, Molly and Jessie rushed over to help me up but then they noticed the guards, who had followed me inside.

The guards didn't notice the two girls and rushed to pick me up but before long Jessie leaped infront of my body and slammed her fist into the captain's cheek. The hit knocked him over into a table. Molly ran in and deflected the sword blows that were aimed at Jessie with her sword. Jessie ran over to the captain as Molly countered the attacks of the other two guards. Molly killed one by the time Jessie got to the captain. She grabbed the captains hair and continuously hit his head on the table whilst yelling at him. After a while the guard spat half saliva and half blood which landed on her face. Jessie swore at the man before breaking his neck then wiping the spit off her face, she then walked over to Molly who had killed the second one moments before the death of the captain. Molly wiped a bit of blood off her face which looked like they were about to make out which would have been hot, just saying! Jessie smiled before noticing Sam lying outside over Molly's shoulder, "Sam!" She rushed out to his unconscious body.

Leonis!

We arrived at Lochfield to see the horrible attack. I held Jessie's hand as we approached, she soon let go and ran into the horrifying sight. Molly and I chased after her but a big gust of smoke blocked our sight. Once the smoke cleared I noticed a figure fall off the roof and I ran towards the direction as Molly stood there. I arrived just before Molly to see that it was Jessie, "Molly, take her to Dracshore for medical attention!"
"I have to stay and fight! You can't be on your own especially since you are ranged." Molly replied.
"I'll be fine. I'll find a sword."
"Take mine."
"No you'll need that."
"Take mine then." Jessie said looking at the new sword, "I know it doesn't work for you but just use it as a normal sword for now."
"Thanks Jessie." I said taking it off her and turning to Molly, "She's in real pain now go!" I snapped before running off. Shortly after guards appeared and lunged towards me, minutes passed and the guards laid dead with blood leaking out of their cut bodies. I wasn't one for the blade but I seemed to just handle myself. Guards after guards fell by this sword until I saw a black flash in one of the streets. The guards that were there had either been thrown against a wall and knocked out or were fleeing. I struck the fleeing guards and approached the street. Skeletons stood over dead bodies, red horrific eyes, spine chilling white bones, visible dark aura and long steel cutlasses. The beings begun to charge me as a man yelled, "Stop! He is not one of Joseph Hansen's men." The man approached to see me fully, "No. It can't be, Sam?"
"Leonis?" I said as I could see him properly, "Long time no see!"
"Now really isn't the time for greetings, how about we have a coffee after we win?"
"Haha. Still a joker I see. Sure, sure coffee it is." I said smiling as we begun to fight men after men. Hours passed of bloodshed and I must admit that the four skeletons that Leonis can conjure up are quite impressive. The sun begun to set when the six of us, including the skeletons, had been surrounded by guards.
"Not much of a fighter are you?" Leonis joked as we slowly creeped backwards towards each other.
"No, I'm more ranged. When I say 'now', hold your breath."
"Alright." Leonis said as we stared off the guards.
"Basta andare a stare li, vigliahcchi! Venite a farci bastardi!" I yelled in Italian. The men were confused for a while but then immediately attacked, "Now!" I yelled slamming a smoke bomb on the ground as Leonis and I held our breath. The skeletons weren't effected by the smoke, after noticing that Leonis and I slashed through the guards. The guards laid there on the ground as blood begun to pour our of the bodies like the bodies previously. Blood was freaky in a way but also fascinating. Thinking that I felt as if I was becoming evil, nah! Leonis ran off and took down more guards. Guards after guards, fight after fights, dying after dying and Leonis hitting on a barmaid, "Say what?"
"What?" Leonis said turning around.
"We are sort of in the business of liberating Lochfield."
"We will in time, have a drink." He said passing me alcohol, "This is Nora. She is the most beautiful girl in the world, no?"
"Sorry, but I have a thing for someone so I can't really judge." I said drinking. Hours passed of drinking and Leonis and I went out to fight the guards smashed.

Love is a pain.

I arrived at the location of the sword of light. Sam and Jessie yelled out that they found the sword and I blew Jessie off because I'm sick of her crap. Once the others knew about Lochfield, they quickly got on their horse and we were on our way. The sun set behind the hills as Tiny Lochfield begun to blacken in the distance except a bit of light and the dark smoke. Sam, Jessie and I set up our tents and ended up sleeping. Okay so I basically cut out a whole chunk but it was painful, all of it. I know Sam and Jessie love each other without realising but I just have this thing for Sam and it hurts to see him with Jessie. They hold hands, almost kissed before I arrived, cuddle on the horse, shared a tent and Jessie laid in Sam's sleeping bag when we sat around the fire. I hate this feeling as if I'm just a tag along and also the feeling I get when I see them where I just want to cry. Enough of this emotion crap. Once the sun rose I was still asleep until I woke up from loud chants. I quickly got up, grabbed my sword and ran out. Guards were attacking and I begun to swing my sword at them, mostly landing. The blood begun to squirt out from their cuts as they fell. I was just glad that none landed on me. Once the fight was over I rushed into the tent and got dressed as well as cleaning the blood off of my sword. As soon as I was dressed we rode towards Lochfield.

The three of us got off and tied our horses. Sam held Jessie's hand. Once we got a couple feet closer Jessie just ran through the gates. I turned to Sam as we both ran after her. The random smoke that the wind blew behind Jessie didn't help us catch up. We had lost her until everything dimmed and someone fell off a roof. Once the figure fell off the roof a white and black stream of light shot up into the sky and flew over the hills. Sam raced towards where the figure had fallen off before I noticed him run off. The figure turned out to have been Jessie once I arrived after Sam. Jessie was in immense pain as Sam told me to take her to a hospital in Dracshore. I kept telling him that I have to fight with him but he just told me as he ran off. Jessie struggled to get up as I picked her up and ran towards the gate. Guards had regrouped at the gate and guarded it. They were holding off a horse drawn carriage and a guard pulled his sword on the person. I ran to the back, placed Jessie inside and slammed my sword into the neck of the guard. 4 guards fell after the first.
"Thank you so much." The man said getting in to go.
"Your welcome but I need help though." I said to the man who had family in the back, "Can you give me a lift to Dracshore? Well actually not me. My friend which I placed in the back is hurt and I was wondering if I could ride my horse by the side of your carriage with my friend in the back."
"I suppose, you helped me. Convenient that we are heading there. Rumour has it that everyone there is ready to flee because they would be next." The man said as I removed the bodies from the front of the carriage. Minutes passed as we arrived in Dracshore. I helped Jessie out the back and carried her to a doctor. We were inside the next minute and it turned out there was no serious damage but Jessie needed to rest for a few hours. Time passed and the hate and fury I have for Jessie dropped. She turned to me, "I'm sorry. I love Sam and I can tell you love him too. I don't want hard feelings between us, we're going to be together until Hansen is gone."
"Yeah, same here. I'll leave you two to be in love."
"He loves me?"
"It's a bit obvious. You seriously didn't know?"
"No."
"Well you do now, enjoy him :)" I said smiling and actually not caring anymore.

Who were they?

After me being strange and telling Sam that we should go tell Molly we ended up sitting outside the cave. He placed his hand on mine and we begun to talk about being on the adventure together. Before I knew it he leaned in to kiss me and of course I did too. The sunsets beautiful orange rays made everything more perfect for the kiss until Molly came riding in on her horse. Sam and I told Molly that we had found the sword when she ignored me and said that a town called Lochfield was under attack by the Hansen militia. I got up on a horse when I realised that Sam didn't let go of my hand. We rode on for minutes when it begun to get dark and we decided to pitch tents. Turned out Molly bought 3 rather then 2 like Sam said. I immediately yelled at Molly in rage because I knew she did this on purpose. She glared back at me as I stepped forward to hit her. Sam swung his arm in my way and sorted it out by letting me sleep with him while Molly was in the tent next to us. I was cheery and ecstatic that he said that. I tried hiding my badly blushed cheeks when helping him set the tent up. Once we finished I went inside to sort out my clothes, it took a while but it was done and once I exited the tent I saw Sam had a fire going and was laying around the fire.
"What are you doing?" I asked him.
"Staring at the night sky. Want to join me?" He asked before I jumped in. We begun to talk about the stars and how he was fascinated in them, "Did you know people use stars to navigate."
"No." I said placing my hand on his in the sleeping bag. He looked at the stars when I looked at his beautiful blue eyes. I've never noticed the colour of his eyes because he always has them covered. Molly walked out of her tent and joined us around the fire. Time passed when Sam got out of the sleeping bag and I followed by hopping in his sleeping bag. Once I got out I chucked it at him and told him to turn around. I undressed from these uncomfortable clothes into a plain white shirt and undies. Even no bra. I got in my neatly placed sleeping bag and begun to wander off in my dreams shortly after Sam  placed his arm around me and I wiggled closer to his warm body.

I woke up and removed Sam's arm from around me and quietly got out of my sleeping bag. I quickly got dressed and peered out the tent. A creek or lake with clean water was what I was looking for. Not long after when I found one and begun to drink from it. Within seconds Sam came out and sat near me. He didn't sit for long before chants of men begun to be heard as horses galloped closer from the Lochfield area. I quickly got from my kneeling position and sprinted towards the men. Sam ran into our tent as ripped a man off his horse and slammed him into the ground. Quickly grabbing the rope for the horse, I swung myself around the horses neck. Once I let go of the rope I flew right into a man and knocked him to the ground. I slammed my fist into his face as Sam begun to fire arrows and Molly came out slashing at the guards. A guard grabbed me around the neck like Alonzo once did and like Deja vu he ended up dead with an arrow in his back. The fight soon ended and we rode towards Lochfield.

We arrived and smoke rose above the walls. People ran everywhere inside the walls. Guards killing innocent people for kicks. They would torture those that stood up against Hansen before killing them, horrific. I hugged Sam tight as we rode closer to the gates. Yeah, I saw all that just from the outside. Sam held my hand as the three of us got closer. I noticed two people on a roof. I let go of Sam's hand and ran in, climbing up the wall. Approaching the two people I noticed them turn around. The girl was covered everywhere except her hair, eyes, a bit on her legs and her stomach which had was a 6-pack. Her eyes were an icy blue. The male wore a brown coat that covered his mouth to his feet, brown shoes and a futuristic monocle. He also wore a slightly transparent cloak. One thing about the two that made them odd was that they had wings. The girl quickly raised her wings as the male faced his palm at me. A black aura formed a black sphere which hit me in the stomach and knocked me off the roof.

Lochfield: The Downfall

I am Leonis.

I woke up from my tavern bed and looked outside the window. i saw children, mothers fleeing the city being chased down and slaughtered by unfamiliar militia. suddenly it hit me, Lochfield was under attack.

i searched for all my possessions, grabbed as much as  i could and rushed out the taverns secret exit the barmaid spoke to me about the night before. as i slowly ventured into the daylight, i stood in awe at the chaos that was in front of my eyes. it was unfathomable. then, i stumbled upon on what appeared to be a little girls teddy. i picked it up, held it a breast, then i knew. these militia  were no ordinary men, they were the minions of joseph hansen. at the moment of deep thought i became instantly surrounded. then 'it' kicked in. the skull on my scythes eyes had started to glow red which could only mean one thing, hell was going to break loose.

Does she love me?

Once Jessie and I arrived at the location of the sword of light we begun to talk. A really deep and meaningful talk. During the talk I was actually hoping that Jessie would tell me that she was being rude to Molly because she was jealous and loved me, but that didn't happen. After our talk I continued to look for the sword. I searched and searched but could not find it. Hours passed and I finally found it. I grabbed the sword and tried to use it but it didn't work. Jessie can over and a light beam shot into the sky. We were happy and excited so much that I hugged her. She mentioned that we should go tell Molly and so we left the little cave and waited outside. I placed my hand on Jessie's, "You know. I'm really glad to go on this adventure with you."
"Me too. If it was anyone else that shot that guard out the front of your house I would have totally ran away and would have been scared of them. But it was you and well-." Jessie said kissing me on the cheek, "I could never be scared of you."
"Thanks." I said blushing and looked at Jessie's eyes. Her lips were so beautiful and luscious in the orange light from the setting sun, I looked down at them. Jessie looked down at mine and we leaned in as I closed my eyes.
"Guys!" A voice yelled from a galloping horse. Jessie and I quickly turned to see Molly hurriedly galloping towards us.
"We found the sword!" Jessie yelled in happiness.
"Good on you." Molly shrugged off as she stopped in front of us, "Lochfield is under attack by the Hansen militia."
"Why?" I said quickly getting up, not letting go of Jessie's hand. Molly begun to explain everything that happened and what the old lady at the little town called Dracshore. Jessie and I quickly got on our horses and rode towards Lochfield. The sun was almost gone as darkness begun to creep over the cliffs not far behind us. We were about a 5 minute ride from where we were and decided to get off and set up the new tents.
"Why are there three?" Jessie yelled, "Sam told you to get two!"
"I thought he said three." Molly replied.
"Please. I will lay in the same tent as Jessie and if you don't mind Molly, you can sleep in the tent next to us. As for the other, oh well." I said trying to sort it out. Molly stormed off and set her tent up and Jessie and I worked on ours. Once we finished the tents the girls went inside their tents and sorted things out as I begun to light some leaves and twigs. Once the flames begun I slowly placed more logs onto the fire. I sat down in front of the fire and stared at the sky. Before long I got my sleeping bag and laid down around the fire. Jessie came out and asked what I was doing. I said I was staring at the sky and that she was welcome to join me. She decided on jumping in my sleeping bag with me and we begun to gaze at the stars. Molly came out and joined us around the fire. Once the sky was half way up the sky Jessie and I went into our tent where she got out of the sleeping bag. She requested I turn around and once I was able to turn around I saw Jessie in a plain white shirt and just undies. Jessie was nice and snug in her sleeping bag when I placed my arm around her and cuddled her.

I woke up in the morning to see Jessie not in the tent. I got out to check where she was to see her drinking from a creek. Molly seemed to be fast asleep as I walked over to Jessie. Jessie looked at me as I sat down. A bunch of Hansen men begun to gallop towards out tent as I quickly sprinted to my tent. I grabbed my quiver and arrows and fired at the men who fell off their horses one by one. A few made it as Jessie pulled them off their horses and Molly rushed out and slashed at some. Before long there were guards laying down everywhere.
"It's time to liberate Lochfield!" I yelled as everyone rushed into the tents. I faced the other way from Jessie as I got dressed. Molly, Jessie and I were all dressed and begun to pack up. Not long after we were riding towards Lochfield.

Lochfield

The whole time I was with Sam and Jessie I felt as if Jessie didn't want me there. Later at night when it was freezing cold I wished Sam was on my horse hugging me rather then being on the same horse as Jessie being hugged by her. At that moment I clicked. Jessie is jealous of me because she loves Sam. Sam asked me to go to town, I replied with that I was fine with that. Upon hearing my reply Sam threw me the map and I rode off towards the nearest town. Day begun to shine over the hills to the north of the town that I was approaching. Something was off about this town. Smoke rose high blocking out the light from the rising sun. I approached the walls as I got off my horse to see guards attacking citizens. A woman and two children came running towards the gate as the two guards killed her and grabbed her children. The guards had an evil smile and pulled their daggers out to kill them. I quickly ran at one guard and slammed my sword into his back. The other guard jumped back and let go of the child he was holding. He drew his sword from his sheath and lunged forward. Countering the attack I swung my blade into his ribs. I ripped the blade out of his side and slammed it through his stomach. A Hansen symbol on the back of the guard stood out. The children stood staring at their mother who was dead on the ground, I asked them, "Where were you going?" The kids just stood there as if they didn't hear me. The girl said, "Mum was taking us to another town."
"I'll take you somewhere safe." I said helping the kids onto my horse. Looking at this town I decided that I had to come back here with Sam and Jessie to stop this war. I got on the horse behind the children and immediately took off to the closest town which was an hour away.

We arrived at the town as I lifted the children off the horse. Grabbing their hand I walked into the towns church. The priest looked at the faces of the children and came to confront me, "What is wrong with these children?"
"Lochfield is under attack." I said before continuing, "These kids lost their mother right in front of their eyes."
"Oh no! Poor children."
"Yeah, but I brought them here to see if maybe you could find them a home."
"Sure I will do." He said as I soon left. I walked over to a shop and asked if I could buy 3 tents and 3 sleeping bags. The clerk said I could and then I traded 34 gold coins for them. Everyone to panic and pack things up over the news of Lochfield being under attack. A woman was hurrying past as I asked, "Why is Lochfield under attack?"
"The reason is because Lochfield and here aren't really under the influence of Hansen's family. Why they are attacking is because they want control. Rumour has it that Joseph Hansen wants control over the world. He even wants a 'perfect' world. In doing so by what I heard, he hired Alonzo Silvio to kill off the Novators, which is your kind." The woman replied.
"Thanks that clears a lot up." I said running to my horse and riding off towards where the others are.

The Sword of Light!

Sam and I rode up to find the 'sword of light' we held hands the whole way there we didn't say a word but it was perfect. We followed the map up to where the sword was located, I was getting tired so i asked if we could take a break. we sat there just smiling for a while until Sam spoke,"where did you go yesterday? when you said you needed alone time"
"I just needed to get away for a little while" I replied.
"From what, you can trust me I won't tell anyone" he pretended to lock his lips.
"Fine" i laughed with a slight smile, "It's just that I don't think molly takes this as serious as it is, I know she is only i year younger than us but-" I stopped and took a deap breathe, "You know what I mean." I really wanted to tell him the truth, I wanted to let him know about how I feel but I just couldn't do it.
"I understand, give her time though, she is just learning like the rest of us. I'll keep looking around, you stay here" Sam went off to keep looking for the sword. I sat there thinking about our talk. Maybe I should have told him the truth maybe he would say he feels the same way but then again what if he doesn't then I would ruin our whole friendship.
"Jessie, i found it, JESSIE come quick!" Sam shouted I followed the sound of his voice and saw him standing there, sword in hand with a puzzled look on his face.
"What's wrong?" I asked.
"It's not working, something's supposed to happen." He threw it next to him and sat on a rock, "I don't understand" he said staring blankly. I walked over to the sword to examine it, just as i picked it up a beam of light shot out into the sky. Sam looked up at me with a slight grin but yet his eyes were full of confusion, "It's you." he giggled. I was still slightly shocked from it all. He hugged me with excitement.
"We should go and show molly." Was all i could blurt out
"Umm, yeah okay good idea" Sam said.

A new recruit

I looked at Jessie then at this fox-human girl standing before me, "I am Sam and this is Jessie."
"Hey, I'm Molly." She said towards me sort of flirting.
"Quick! We must take you back to your family and we will be gone." Jessie snapped. I walked over to the horse and hopped on as Molly walked over to another horse. Jessie got up after me and we rode off back to the direction of the town followed by Molly. I turned to Jessie who had her arms around me, "What's wrong?"
"Nothing." She said looking away with tears swelling up.
"It's not nothing. Missing your parents but don't want to admit it."
"Yeah you're right." She lied as we approached the town. Molly's mum was standing there as we arrived and quickly ran to Molly as she arrived. The two hugged as I helped Jessie down. I wish I could have held her hand for much longer.
"Thank you so much!" Molly's mum chanted hugging us both, "I will now train you this afternoon."
"Can I join in mum?" Molly asked.
"No!" She snapped.
"Why not? I know everything about Joseph Hansen supporting Silvio."
"I suppose you are just as ready as these two. Very well. I shall train you three how to blend in with crowds and about vital spots." She said before departing. Molly turned to me, winked and followed her mum. Jessie walked off as I stood there, "Jessie! Where are you going?"
"I need some time alone!" She yelled back. Why is she so grumpy? Time passed and the three of us returned to be trained. More time passed, that days later the training has been finished. I remember learning about the Jugular, interesting spot. Jessie and I were saying good bye to Molly's mum as Molly ran in, "Can I join them?"
"I suppose. Keep the sword you have and be careful. You three kids be careful, okay?"
"We will. We promise to look after Molly for you." I said smiling.
"Good. Now off to find that weapon." Molly's mum said as we got onto the horses and rode off. The sun set and the cold begun to freeze us. I told Jessie to get the blanket and wrap it around us. She did and had her arms around me, "Sam, we really need to get tents. I love snuggli- I mean it's okay to have a blanket around us but we also need sleep."
"Yeah. Okay. I'll go into town and you and Molly can check out this place."
"Do I have to? Can't we go and check it out and Molly get's the tents?"
"I suppose." I replied turning to the other horse, "Molly do you mind riding to town and buying two tents and 3 sleeping bags?"
"Not really." Molly replied, "I'll go now. Be back soon." I chucked her the map and she rode off. Jessie held my hands as we rode on.

A treacherous truth

I sat eating breakfast watching my mum strut up and down mumbling something about new recruits not being here. She ignored me when I asked and continued to strut up and down. Dad came in and quickly left shutting the door behind him. I grabbed my phone and followed. Slinging my wooden sword and sheath onto my back I followed him from a distance. He looked back here and then but I blended in with a crowd of a sort then followed him again. Once he stopped I quickly climbed up onto a roof and listened in on the conversation.
"These menaces are getting worse!" A man growled punching a wall, "Silvio is rumoured to be close to the Hansen family."
"What?" Dad yelled, "You mean our nation leader is close to the leader of the Novators?" At that moment I realised dad used the actual name of us fox-human half casts. I am a Novator and I never refer to myself like that.
"Yes. It is also said that he is actually paying them to kill us off." The man said again as the other stood in shock.
"So our leader is paying bandits to kill us off slowly?" Another man questioned, "But why?"
"I'm pretty sure I know why." Dad muttered before saying, "I'm going to go. Talk soon guys."
"Wait." The first man said, "I want you to know they are rumoured to be the cliffs of Aden."
"Thanks." Dad said turning around and sprinting off. I quickly followed him staying out of site before arriving at the edge of the building. He continued to run off as I climbed down and raced home. Luckily I knew a short cut home and arrived just before dad. Mum didn't notice me so I quickly hid behind a wall to hear dad come in, "Martha! The Hanson family is paying Silvio to kill us off!"
"Dirty corrupt politic Nothus! He is up to something and we have to act soon, everything in our world will be lies" Mum yelled. The two carried on as I begun to think 'Corrupt politic? Silvio and the Hansen family are close? How long have a I been lied too? A great man like Joseph Hansen paying Alonzo Silvio to kill my kind? I have to do something about this. Silvio's camp is near the cliffs of Aden which is north-west of here. First I need a weapon.' I sneaked out of my room and into my dads and replaced my wooden sword with his real sword. Quickly I hopped out the window and stole a horse from our neighbour and rode it towards the cliffs of Aden. Tents were everywhere around the cliffs and I begun to search each tent. Every tent has a girl with nothing on but a bra and underpants. Novators were in every tent but it got riskier me searching each tent so I begun to free the girls whilst taking out a few guards with my Dad's sword. The last girl freed and I turned to my horse when a net flew over my head and I was trapped.
"What a hero!" A man chuckled. I turned to see that it was Alonzo, "Sacrificing yourself for the rest of the girls. Guards! Tie her up immediately. I'm going to have fun with this one." The men dragged me into the big tent and tied each arm and leg to a pole. It seemed like hours when Alonzo entered the tent and begun to strip me of my clothes. All that was left was my bra and my shorts when a girl came into the tent and ran out quickly. This girl wasn't a Novator, she was an elven and seemed to have made everyone in the tent even Alonzo chased her. Soon a boy came in, cut me loose and told me to get dressed. Once I was dressed I walked out the tent to see the human boy fire an arrow straight into Alonzo's neck, killing him. I stood there in shock as every guard was unconscious on the ground and Silvio laying there dead with an arrow sticking out of his neck. The boy approached the dead body and lifted him up. The Elven girl quickly gathered wood a bit to the east of the camp. Alonzo was placed on top of the wood as the girl lit it on fire. "Rest in peace you piece of crap!" The boy said as the two approached.

Trouble far from home

Sam and I rode on the back of a horse for a while as I begun to think back to last night. Guards burst into my room as I laid down on the bed and begun to trash the house looking for Sam. The window opened as I saw a guard climb onto the roof. I quickly raced to the window and climbed out as the other guards left. The guard looked over the side of the building as I quickly hit him in the neck, knocking him out and running back inside. Soon after another guard climb out but soon fall off the side. The guard revealed Sam being on the roof and next all the guards were out side running away from the house shouting at someone. I quickly raced down stairs as my mum grabbed me and held me in her arms. Dad walked in with a map and gave it to me as soon as mum let go. Mum told me to go upstairs and get dressed. She slowly walked up after me with her hands behind her back. Upon getting in my room my mum also came in and watched me get dressed with my back to her. Once I had finished she placed a necklace around my neck and said, "This also has the symbol that is on Sam's cape and is an Elven neck-chocker. On the map given to you locates a location of the sword of light which is yours and a town where a member of our association will teach you a part of our ways. After teaching you she will give you a map to another member and so on."
"Thanks mum. We won't let you down." I said placing my hand on her shoulder, "But I don't know where Sam went."
"Try the forest. Guards won't go in there because of the witches and he knows that." My mum said before continuing, "Also you might want to take Sam's clothes and equipment."
"I will. Thanks a lot mum." I said leaving my room. Soon I left the house and walked towards the forest. Soon day broke when I got close to the forest. I peered closer to see Sam laying down looking at a witch.

I stopped pondering on what happened before when the horse stopped and Sam jumped off. He helped me off and we walked over to a hut which was marked on the map. A fox-human lady was standing out the front worried out the front. Sam walked over and asked, "What's wrong?"
"My daughter had gone missing." The woman stopped, looked at the necklace and continued, "You two are the ones who have come to visit me for training."
"How did you know?" I asked puzzled.
"Your mum sent a message carried by a carrier pigeon but I need help from you both before training you. As I said before that my daughter is missing, I need you to find her and possibly save her. There are Bandits who is lead by Alonzo Silvio and they occasionally take young women, rape and murder them. We have been looking for years and not found them but I have heard about them being here." She stopped and marked and area on the map, "We were going to search tomorrow but you can go and check it out now for your first test. Go!" Sam and I quickly got back on the horse and rode in the direction marked. Once we arrived we noticed a little camp. Sam and I got off a few meters away and begun to run in a stealthy position. We hid behind one tent and Sam quickly ran to another. He signalled it was safe and I begun to run but then he signalled to stop. I quickly snuck back and watched Sam hide behind a tent as two men walked past. I pulled my top down to show more cleavage and walked in there as the two men stood their and watched with their jaws on the ground. "Wow I never knew being on watch would have been this good." One whispered as the both then fell to the ground with arrows in their backs. Sam walked over, took the arrows and we dragged them behind tents. Another man came and saw the blood. He ran towards a tent as and arrow flew straight into his back. Sam quickly ran towards the man and tossed him behind another tent. I approached the tent he was heading towards and Sam followed behind me.

Poor sweet lady.

I laid on the cold roof in the silver light coming off the moon. Thump thump, Bang bang was all I could hear as well as shouting from the guards demanding to search the house. The adrenaline was pumping through me as I wondered whether they would find me. All I could think about was how stupid I was before the guards came. How could I not cuddle up in bed with her or put my arm around her when we were sitting on the roof. I guess maybe I didn't just in case she doesn't love me back and I guess I was just nervous as well. Even if she doesn't love me she isn't nervous to put her arm on my shoulder. When she did my whole body flooded with a warm fluffy feeling and I could not speak for a few minutes. A loud smash brought my attention back to the situation to find a guard climbing onto the roof. I quickly crawled back and hung from the side of the roof away from any windows. The guard approached the another side and peered off. I looked up to see Jessie run up behind him and slam her fist into his neck, knocking him out. She grabbed his body, laid him down and quickly got back inside. I quickly climbed back up and tossed the guards body into a bush which swallowed him whole. A flashback of what Jessie just did popped in my head but I only saw what she was wearing. She was wearing what she was before but without the shorts. I stood there when another guard climbed up and saw me. I quickly grabbed him and tossed him off, I had nothing but a top and pants on. As the guard fell he yelled out that I was on the roof before his voice distorted as his body clumped to the ground. I jumped from the roof into a thick bush hoping that I would not die from the fall. The bush was soft and I was only winded a little bit but I still sprinted away from the house. I didn't look back as I ran when I noticed a horse. I quickly leaped on the back and rode it much further until I was out of the town. The horse and I approached a forest where I got off and tied the horse to a tree. The horse neighed as I laid down on the cold damp ground and slept.

I awoke to the sun not too far in the sky and my body feeling frozen. The grass was higher then I remember but I noticed someone getting closer from within the forest. The figure bent over me to reveal themselves of being an old lady. She helped me up and asked why I was here with nothing. I told her that it was a long story but she said she had all day when Jessie showed up, "Sam! Don't run away from home. Mum and Dad are worried."
"I'm sorry Jessie. I'll come home now." I said getting up, untying the horse off the tree and walking with Jessie towards the town, "I can't go back!"
"You won't be. It seems I came just in time as well."
"What do you mean?"
"That sweet old lady was a witch." She said as we were out of viewing range of the witch. Jessie handed over the stuff I got yesterday and proper clothes.
"Thanks can I get dressed now?"
"Fine I guess so." She sighed turning as I got dressed and equipped the stuff. I hoped onto the horse and helped Jessie up as we galloped away towards the direction of the sun.

12 February 2011

6 hours after twilight.

It was late at night and I was laying in bed looking down at Sam sleeping on the hard floor. I roll over to look at the wall and wished that'd he'd get under the blankets and cuddle me, but then again he obviously isn't interested in me. What am I thinking? Today has been the scariest experience of my life, so far. It was just a normal day except after school when Sam had to be kept behind for making fun of the teacher, which was Hilarious. I ended up going home and waiting for him to arrive home but he was still at school obviously. So I decided to go in and eat. Just about to finish eating I heard a window smash from his house. I decided to finish eating and once I had I ran straight out to bump into a guard who must of heard it as well. He begun saying that Sam's family was wanted but as soon as the guard was going to tell me why an arrow flew from the back corner of the house. The arrow hit the Guard in the neck causing blood to squirt out before the guard fell to his knees. I was so scared and I was about to run until I saw Sam running out holding the bow. He pulled me into my house and I was didn't know what to do; whether to cry, whether to yell for help or act calm. My love for him is too much for me to be scared of him forever so I acted calm. We still held hands as we approached the main room as Sam requested and I begun to hide my blushing face. My mum freaked that we entered when my mum clearly told me not to go in there tonight. The smoke smelt real bad but my mum went off at me for us entering so I explained as much of the situation that I knew of before she begun mentioning that Sam's mum wanted him 'to be one of them.' Sam let go of my hand to give my mum the letter which Sam's mother wrote before dying and then my mum then said he could stay over and I could not hold in my excitement so I smiled so happily. Sam didn't notice but my mum did. I noticed Sam try grabbing onto my hand but my mum was watching so I didn't grab on. Sam and I went upstairs to my room where we begun to talk about today when I asked, "Where did you learn to shoot like that?"
"I don't know. I've never used Bow and Arrows before but yet I got him right where I wanted to?"
"That's weird." I said placing my arm on his shoulder. He paused for a bit and then said, "I know. It's like I was meant to be an archer. Maybe if I wasn't wanted dead I'd be a guard."
"After what I saw today, I'd rather you not be a guard." I mentioned. Begun to talk for hours until half an hour ago when we went to sleep. Now I lay here playing the strange day on loop in my head. Removing the blankets from my bed I got up and walked over to the window. I opened up the curtains and the window. Climbing out I sat on the roof and stared at the moon. Seemed like hours, really was hours because the moon moved 15 degrees in a west direction. Sam crawled on the roof as I looked at him and he looked back at me. I really didn't want him to look at me because I wasn't wearing a bra or make up. Just in a shirt, short shorts and a blanket over my lap. He approached and got under with me. He looked more handsome then usual with the moons light shining upon him and I wished he would put his arms around me, kiss me and never let go. We sat under the blanket together as we noticed a light source getting closer. I grabbed the blanket and hid on the other side of the roof to see Guards approaching this house. I looked at Sam as he said, "Get inside and act like I'm not up here."
"Okay. I love-" I stopped and continued, "I mean, I so love this." I said in a sarcastic voice. I quickly and quietly climbed into my window and locked it. I leaped into bed, took off my shorts so I was only wearing a shirt and undies as usual and covered myself up with a blanket.

The beginning

I turned to Jessie during class and mocked the teacher. Jessie thought it was hilarious but the teacher didn't like it so much, "Stay behind!" Class passed and I sat in my chair watching the teacher explain something to a student before they left. The teacher walked up and started rambling on about how disrespectful it was and BLAH BLAH! I just wanted to get out of there right away but I had to at least be there for the teacher. Who said I had to listen though? Once the teacher stopped rambling I ran out, grabbed my bag and went home. Jessie had already left because the teacher went on for ages so today I was going home alone. I walked through the small town along the stone tiled path home. I arrived home to no answer when I knocked on my door. Time went and the more I knocked but there still was no answer. This begun to scare me quite a lot. Right now I didn't care and needed to get inside so I grabbed a rock and smashed the window of my room. Clearing the rest of the window of glass, I leaped in and opened my door. The sight I saw was all too horrible. My mum was laying face on the ground in a puddle of blood. Tears begun to swell in my eyes as I noticed something odd about her back. I begun to step on items to avoid the blood and lifted her top up to see a tattoo of a riddle. The riddle read, 'search up high, but so low and you shall find the reason why.' Glaring at the tattoo I thought about how it didn't rhyme but then I begun to think about the riddle. Up high must mean the second floor and so I rushed up stairs and begun to search something 'low'. There really wasn't anything that was low and I got so furious and kicked the bin over which pushed the rug over to reveal a trap door. I climbed down it to realise that this is a false room which explains why the house wasn't shaped like it's design. I turned the light on to see a chest, opening it revealed a navy blue cape with a weird symbol on the back, a belt with a pouch which contained stun bombs, two small wrist-guards, leather gloves, a quiver of 90 arrows, a bow, a closed letter and a letter addressed to me. I read the letter which explained a lot including the strange people comings over once a week. The letter also explained how a group including a bunch of corrupted officials and people with power and that they had been onto her for a while. At the end of the letter it told me to deliver the closed letter to Jessie's mum. I slid the cape, wrist-guards, leather gloves, belt and quiver on. I put the bow over the quiver and placed the unread letter into the pouch with the stun bombs. I climbed out of the room concealing it again. Noticing a dagger sheath on my belt I grabbed a knife and slid it in the sheath and raced towards my room, leaped out the window and ran around to the front. A guard was talking to Jessie out the front and asked, "Why were you about to go near this house?"
"Because this is my best friend's house?"
"This house is off limits and all members that live in this house are wanted." He explained as I removed the bow from the quiver, grabbed an arrow, aimed and fired towards the guard. The arrow flew into the Guard's neck as he fell down dead. Jessie looked at the dead body in shock as I sprinted out, ripped the arrow out the neck, placed in the quiver as well as putting the arrow over the quiver, grabbing Jessie's hand and running in her house. She stared blankly at me, "What was that?"
"I don't know but I found my mum dead on the ground and have to deliver a letter to your mum."
"Okay. Even if you are wanted I will always be with you."
"Thanks. That means a lot." I said walking towards the main room of the house still holding Jessie's hand. I don't know if she has noticed that I'm still holding her hand but I don't want to stop. We arrived at the main room to see Jessie's mum smoking and talking with the strange people that came over to my house once a week. She realised we were standing there and came over, "Why are you two here? I told you Jessie to not come in here!"
"Sorry mum but Sam is wanted and has to give you a letter anyway."
"So I've heard." She noticed the Cape, "That cape. I see. You're mum wants you to help us. I guess it is time for you two to help us but right now we are in a middle of serious plans. The letter please, Sam." I let go of Jessie's hand and handed her mum the letter, "You can bunk here for a while Sam. You may need to hide here and there because the guards have begun to crack down and will be searching houses." I moved my hand back to try grasp Jessie's hand but I couldn't feel it, "Thanks for allowing me to stay for a while."
